DMZ Tour: Korea’s Divided Border

After breakfast at your hotel, meet your private guide and driver in the lobby before heading to Imjingak Park. Here, you'll join a shared coach for a DMZ tour, taking you close to the border that separates North and South Korea.

The DMZ, a strip of land that acts as a buffer zone between the two countries, offers a rare opportunity to learn about the division and the ongoing tensions. At the Dora Observatory, gaze through the barbed wire fence along the Military Demarcation Line and, on a clear day, catch a glimpse of North Korean villages and industrial parks.

Next, explore the 3rd Underground Tunnel, a massive passageway built by North Korea with the capacity to move 30,000 soldiers per hour. The tunnel is so wide that even tanks can pass through with ease.

After your tour, meet your private driver for a transfer back to your hotel in Seoul.

Note: This is a full-day tour with an early pick-up.
Please bring your passports for the tour. Also, note the DMZ dress code: avoid torn clothing (including jeans), offensive writing, leather pants, or military uniforms.
