Hanoi Sightseeing Tour

In the morning, your private guide will meet you in the hotel lobby and take you to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you will visit the Mausoleum and Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house. You will also see the One Pillar Pagoda, founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049, which has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. The tour continues with a visit to the Temple of Literature, a well-preserved example of traditional Vietnamese architecture, known as the country’s first university and a place dedicated to Confucius.

Your guide will then lead you to the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest of its kind in Vietnam, located by the serene West Lake. You will have some free time for lunch at a local café (not included) before resuming the tour. In the afternoon, your guide will take you by local cab to Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple.

Afterward, you can enjoy a leisurely walk through the narrow alleys of the charming Old Quarter, where you may shop for souvenirs. Your guide will then accompany you back to your hotel by local cab.

Day Trip to Halong Bay’s Treasures

After breakfast, your private guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the breathtaking Halong Bay, a journey of approximately 2.5 hours by private car.

Along the way, you will be able to admire the stunning scenery of peaceful villages, watch local farmers tending to their fields, see water buffaloes grazing, and observe the local trading of herbs. Upon arrival in Halong Bay around noon, you will board your private cruise. A delicious lunch will be served on board as the vessel sails through the remarkable seascape of thousands of limestone cliffs rising from the emerald waters. During the cruise, you will visit some of the bay’s natural wonders, including impressive karsts and the Thien Cung (Heavenly) Cave, guided by your expert tour leader. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy activities such as kayaking in the calm, clear waters.

In the late afternoon, the cruise will return to shore, where your driver will meet you at the harbor for the journey back to your hotel in Hanoi.

Today, after lunch, your private guide will meet you at your hotel and take you on a walking tour of Hoi An, an ancient town honored as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your first stop is the Fujian Assembly Hall, built around 1690. Its striking exterior, fascinating history, and intriguing features make it a captivating site for those interested in architecture and culture. Next, you will visit the Quang Thang Ancient House, a 150-year-old residence showcasing the architectural style of Hoa Ha, China. Over the years, both the structure and its interior decorations have been carefully preserved.

Afterward, you will pass the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, admired for its elegant curved roof that covers the entire span. The roof’s yin and yang patterned tiles are a distinctive hallmark of Vietnamese architecture and tradition. From there, the tour continues to the central local market, a lively place designed with French architectural influence. Here, you will find a variety of goods, from fresh and dried foods to local specialties like Cao Lau, rice dumpling cake, sweet soup, and Hoi An bread. You can also browse colorful lanterns and handmade souvenirs crafted by local artisans.

Your exploration will then lead you to the Silk Village, where you can experience every step of traditional silk production, from harvesting mulberry leaves and feeding silkworms to distinguishing real silk from synthetic fibers. Finally, you will enjoy a 20-minute lantern boat ride along Hoi An Old Town’s canal - a magical and memorable experience, especially after sunset. Day Trip to the Imperial City Hue

Today, after breakfast, your guide will pick you up for a journey to the historic imperial city of Hue. Along the scenic drive, you will stop to admire some of Vietnam’s most beautiful natural landscapes, including the tranquil Lap An Lagoon, the pristine Lang Co Beach, and the breathtaking Hai Van Pass - often regarded as the most stunning and adventurous mountain road in the country. Upon arrival in Hue, you will begin exploring its most iconic landmark, the Imperial Citadel. Once the residence of the Nguyen Emperors, the citadel also houses the Forbidden Purple City, a place of great historical significance. In the afternoon, you will embark on a serene boat ride along the Perfume River, leading to the Thien Mu Pagoda - the oldest and most sacred Buddhist temple in central and southern Vietnam.
